- For Cops & Stakeholders -

This is for the police department or sheriff’s office and citizen stakeholder group(s) that are looking to work together to strategically and inclusively map out the work in front of us. It’s the process of jointly sitting down and working on solutions that increase community and departmental trust and legitimacy on both sides of the partnership.

We customize a schedule of department and community PWOC workshops based on the districts, sectors or precincts. We have, in jurisdictions without geographic designations, created “communities” from the organized or recognized community or civic associations. We work out a scheme that minimizes our travel by accommodating the department within their work schedules while doubling up on Saturdays to maximize our ability to reach citizen stakeholders.

While we may bring in a “guest facilitator” by Zoom, our sessions are in person which is the best way to create the real partnerships that get produced by well intentioned and collaborative participants. We manage the tough and honest conversations that get produced in these discussions no matter the income, ethnicity, age or religion of the participants.

We can’t come live in your town, so we try to set a path for the road ahead and recommend that a skilled local facilitator be engaged to shepherd the process along.
